A Founder's Intern Hiring Playbook

How to Maximize the Kellogg Internship Stipend

As a Kellogg MBA alum, founder, and someone who's hired Kellogg students and other top MBA’s into operator roles, I want to share some guidance to help you make the most of hiring someone from the Kellogg stipend.

This amazing program is rolled out when hiring markets are tough, with Kellogg's KISS program funding stipends for MBA students to intern at startups over the summer. Kellogg pays. You get a high-caliber operator for 10-12 weeks. It's a great deal if you set it up right. It’s a waste of everyone's time if you don't.

If you're interested, complete this intake form to submit your startup for review. This process is handled entirely by Kellogg. For full details and eligibility requirements, see the Kellogg Internship Support Stipend Employer Guidelines (2026).

This guide is to give you a founder’s view of whether this program is right for you.
